Dokumentation: The Plastic Age

Ich hatte neulich hier im Blog ein Erklärbärvideo, dass deutlich machte, warum es so wichtig ist, dass wir Kunststoffe ordentlich recyceln.

Die Doku ‚The Plastic Age‘ von i-D (VICE) zeigt im ersten Teil die katastrophalen Folgen, die die rund 700 Millionen Tonnen Plastik, die aktuell schon in unseren Meeren herumschwimmen, auf die Umwelt haben. Mit dabei ist auch Charles Moore, der mit den Leuten von VICE bereits zum großen Great Pacific garbage patch, der in etwa die Größe von Texas hat, rausgefahren ist.

Im zweiten Teil geht es dann darum, wie man diesen Kunststoff nun wieder rausbekommt und als Rohstoff für Klamotten nutzen kann.
